Ben finished his preschool year a few weeks ago which means another adorable preschool graduation program for us to attend. He isn’t actually graduating from preschool this year since you have to be 5 years old by Sept. 1st to attend Kindergarten. Ben misses the cutoff by 20 days, so he will be waiting until he almost 6. I think he is definitely smart enough to go to Kindergarten in the fall, but Jeff and I decided there is no harm letting him wait that year to gain a little more confidence rather than try to have him test to get in early.
Anyway, he will be back at Wooddale again next fall and will be going 4 afternoons a week instead of 3 like he did this year. His best buds Connor and Jack (in the pic below) are going to be in his class again next year so he is really excited! He will have a new teacher again next year, so we had to snap one last pic of him with his teacher Ms. Teri. She was really wonderful and I was so happy with everything they did in class this year. I hope he gets so lucky again next year!
I took videos of every song they performed in the program but I know that is probably a little too much for the casual blog reader, so I am just posting Ben’s (and my) favorite. He gets such a kick out of the part of the song where the fish take a shower and wash their beards (around the 40 sec. mark), it’s just too darn cute!

That song is adorable and I love how you can hear Ben's giggle when they say "wash their beards."
