My Apologies!

I am lucky this blog is only read by a handful of people (or maybe two handfuls if people get really bored) because I have been slacking BIG TIME.  Even thinking about how far behind I am makes me so overwhelmed that I haven’t been able to get myself to sit down and play catch up.  Combine my blogger-guilt that with being super-busy and you have a blog with only two posts in April and NONE in May.  Blog Fail.

So here they all are.  A bunch of pics to get you caught up on what we’ve been up to the last few months.  Ready, Set, Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The second weekend in April we traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to celebrate Jeff’s Grandma Kay’s 80th birthday.  It was a really fun weekend and the kids (especially Ben) had fun playing with all their “cousins”.  Not sure how to do the cousin math there but they’re all related somehow!

Notice the classy pic below of Hallie picking her nose.  This has become a new bad habit of hers that we are trying to curb.  She doesn’t seem to get that it is gross and rude so progress has been slow!  When we tell her to stop she always just says “But I’ve got a booger in there!”    Ahh, two year old logic!

We celebrated Easter with my family in Fargo this year but we also got in a little Easter egg dying at Janet and Art’s before we left.  Here are some pics of both of our egg dying adventures.

While we were in Fargo celebrating Easter, we headed to the bowling alley with the kids.  The kids got a kick out of finding a Scooby Doo all to bowl with this time.  In the lower right pic, Hallie is saying “Scooby Dooby Doo!” 

I also snuck a pic in the collage of my parents reading to Hallie.  The kids love snuggling up for stories with Nanny and Buddy.

That’s all the catch-up I have for April!  A little light on text this time, but with so much to get through, that’s the way it has to be!  Coming up next……pics from Hallie’s first haircut!!
