Last weekend we had our first BBQ of the year. It was a nice relaxing day with friends and we also had the treat of meeting Dan & Nikki’s new baby girl Addison. We had been trying to find a time to see her for weeks and were so happy to finally get in some tiny baby snuggles. Hallie had a blast with Addison’s big sis Amelia and our friend’s Chuck & Beth stopped by with their son Will so Ben had a friend too.
Here are some pics of the kids enjoying the slip-n-slide we had set up. Yes, those are my children drinking hose water. What? You’re not supposed to do that? I turned out just fine so it must be okay! :)
And here are a few of BFFs Hallie and Amelia. They are only a few months apart and play really well together. I wish we could get them together more often!
Here are the kids and I with baby Addison. Hallie loved her so much and kept going over to talk to her and look at her. It made me feel a tiny bit guilty that she won’t ever have a younger sibling. I think she’d be a great big sis!
