Sesame Street Live

DSC_0266 Fuse

The kids got tickets to Sesame Street live from Janet & Art for Christmas and Sunday was the big day!  This was Ben’s third trip to the show so we knew he would love it.  Hallie went last year but was a little scared of the monsters and probably too young to “get”  much of the show.  This year, she was really looking forward to it and brought her Abby doll from home to enjoy the show with her.
We started off the show with mini-doughnuts and an $8 lemonade (prices at these things are crazy!).  Both of the kids love mini doughnuts and it turns out Hallie loves them so much that she has to cry (loud) when they are all gone.  Luckily the show started shortly after her crying and put a stop to her little tantrum.
We had great seats (2nd row!) so the kids were really close to the action and Ben was able to get high fives from Elmo, Ernie and Telly.  Hallie was content to see them from the comfort of Jeff’s lap.Smile

The show was really cute and emphasized healthy living so hopefully the kids took home a few lessons about eating their veggies, brushing their teeth, taking baths and getting exercise!  One thing I know they took home with them is confetti.  There were a bunch of different points in the show where it shot out into the audience and that seemed to be their favorite part.
Thank you Janet and Art for the tickets!  It was a blast!

Looks like they had a blast! We took Kenzie & Preston a few years ago & they loved it. Can't believe the lemonade was $8! Love the new layout...can't wait for spring!
