My family came to town the last weekend in December to celebrate Hallie’s birthday, have a late Christmas with us, and spend New Years with the kids. I already shared all the pics from Hallie’s birthday but I have a few to share from opening gifts during our late Christmas so here they are!
The night after our Christmas celebration was New Years Eve and my parents offered to take the kids so that Jeff, Ali, and I could celebrate. They got a hotel room and celebrated with swimming and sparkling apple juice and we headed over to Katie and Chris’s place for some games and champagne! No pictures to show for New Years Eve though, sorry!
There is one more really cool blog-related thing I wanted to share. At Hallie’s birthday party, I got to open an early birthday present from Katie, Chris, Janet & Art. I had mentioned to Katie awhile back that I would really love to start printing out my blog every year so that I could have a book showing off all my hard work. She remembered and went to www.blogtoprint.com to order a book of my blog for my birthday present!
I started this blog in February 2008 and all the blogging I have done since then added up to a 191 page book and it turned out awesome! I love showing it off and am so excited to have it as a keepsake. Thank you guys so much for the amazing gift!
