Visit from Stacey and Thomas!

As most of you already know, my best friend Stacey lives in Colorado.  We don’t get to see  each other often so I’m always really excited when they are in town and we can sneak in a visit.  Today Stacey and Thomas were able to come over for a few hours to play, visit, and exchange presents with us. 

Ben and Hallie were thrilled that “baby Thomas” was coming to see them.  Before they arrived, Ben said to me “Thomas has been missing me!” and told me he has been missing him too.  Hallie just kept saying “Baby Thomas?” wondering when he would get there.

Thomas is almost 9 months old and he is such a little overachiever.  He crawls lightning-fast, can climb the stairs, cruises the furniture and can walk behind a push toy!  Its so cute to see such a little guy going all over the place like that.  Neither of my kids were even crawling at that point in their lives, so I’m really impressed by him!  He also has the cutest dimples and amazing blue eyes, so he’s pretty irresistible!

Thomas dove right in with the big kids and they played trains, piano, and had a fun time crawling through our pop up tunnel. 

When it came time for presents, Thomas crawled up onto Ben’s lap and Ben helped him open his.  It was so cute!

 

We tried for a group picture but this was the closest to a good one that we got.

As always, it seems like our visit was too short and I wished we could do this more often!  Missing you guys all the time! :)
