More Softball, Feeding the Ducks and a New Train!

Here's what we've been up to the past couple of weeks!

As you can see from the pictures we have been keeping busy the last few weeks! Three of the pics are from a very hot evening at Jeff's softball games. Ben had a great time that night and I think he has decided that dad could really use a small edition to his team. He is always trying to get onto the field and when he can't he is busy stealing gloves and balls from people's bags :)

Last week we took Ben to feed the ducks at a local lake. (This is the pic on the lower left in the collage.) He had SO much fun and spent such a long time throwing popcorn to all the ducks. After we had gone through two boxes of popcorn we took a little stroll around the lake area and listened to some musicians they had playing that night. It was a really nice night and definitely something we will have to put on our regular to do list.

Today Ben and I took a trip to Ikea to browse and what do you know....I didn't get anything for myself and bought a little train set for Ben. They have a similar (but bigger) train setup at Barnes and Noble Bookstore and he always has so much fun playing on it so I thought he would really enjoy having his own trains at home. He is really excited about them and I think they were worth every penny of the $15 that I spent! I love Ikea!
