Jeff and I are excited to announce that we are expecting a baby girl! We are thrilled that everything looked normal and healthy (heart, brain, spine, kidneys etc) and she is growing right on track weighing 11 ounces right now. She had her hands up near her face through most of her ultrasound and even was sucking her thumb for part of it. Too cute!
When the ultrasound tech said girl I asked how sure she was and she said "if it were my baby I would start buying pink" and then later on in the ultrasound she said "oh yeah, this is definitely a girl". So let the shopping begin!!
Here are a bunch of the ultrasound pictures....the first three pictures are 3d and I think she looks like Ben already. The same nose anyway!

Also wanted to add pictures of the cake I made to reveal the gender of the baby to Jeff's family. Since they live in town I wanted to think of a creative way to show them boy or girl. I made a cake and dyed the batter pink (would've been blue for a boy) and then frosted the cake in chocolate so they couldn't see the inside until the cake was cut!. We were going to wait until after dinner to cut the cake and I was really nervous about keeping my poker face on for that long! I was relieved when Janet asked if we could cut it before dinner instead! :) Here are a few pics of the cake, their reaction and Ben all smiles while enjoying dessert!
