Kid Wash!

I know I promised a July post was coming up but I realized that I forgot one thing in my June round-up so I thought I would squeeze it in here.

If you looked back to the last thing I posted before my recent return, you saw that it was a post about my new love of a little thing called Pinterest.  Oh sweet time waster, how you have changed my life.  I now can waste hours pinning ideas of how to be a super-mom, super-chef, and regular Martha Stewart and occasionally make an actual attempt at putting one of those ideas into practice.  (Seriously if you are not on Pinterest  – get on there people!  Winter is coming and you are going to need a way to fill those grey days.  You’re welcome.)

Anyway – I saw a cute post on there about a kid wash sprinkler that a dad had made for his kids using pvc pipe.  It looked pretty simple so I showed it to Jeff in hopes he could whip one up for the kids.  The next day, boom.  We had a sweet new sprinkler for under 10 bucks.  It has been a crazy hot summer so we could not have stumbled upon this at a better time.

Oh and I forgot – small tip if you decide to make this yourself.  They will cut the pipe for you at the store (at least they did at Home Depot) so that makes it even easier!
