Jeff did it up right this weekend by celebrating his birthday all weekend long. Our small family celebration on Friday was followed by his actual party on Saturday at Katie and Chris’s place and then a prime rib and crab dinner on Sunday night at his parents house.
Katie offered to throw Jeff’s party this year so I owe a HUGE thank you to her for all she did to make it a great birthday for Jeff! After a rainy start to the party, we lucked out and got some nice weather so we spent most of the day outside grilling, visiting and playing yard games.
Katie had set up a slip and slide for the kids and Ben, Hallie, and Amelia played in it pretty much all day long. Of course the birthday boy had to join in too. :)
