Today Ben's preschool class took a field trip to the Mn Zoo. All the parents were invited to attend so I got to see Ben enjoy the zoo with his friends. It was Ben's first field trip and he was SO excited to ride the bus. Apparently riding without the restraints of a car seat was nearly as exciting as seeing tigers, monkeys and bears. :)
Keeping 12 preschoolers in a group and moving along is pretty challenging, so we didn't get to see as many animals as we have seen in past trips to the zoo. Still, It was a beautiful day and it was fun to go with Ben and get to know his classmates a bit better.
Here are a few pics from the day. My favorites are the one of Ben with the bear (bottom middle) and the one where he is making a bear face (bottom right). The bear was right up on the glass and I thought Ben would be afraid but he loved it!
