Ben's 3rd Birthday

Ben celebrated his 3rd birthday on September 20th. I can hardly believe that it has been three years since he was born. He has grown up so fast and some days I just want time to stop (or at least slow down) time so we can enjoy this cute, fun age a little bit more. I feel like I will close my eyes one day and wake up with a teenager! Since I'm feeling a little nostalgic, here's a pic of Ben about an hour after he was born next to one of him on his birthday. Awww.

I have decided the theme's for Ben's last two birthdays but this year he was old enough to choose one all on his own - or so I thought! I brought him to the party store and he couldn't decide. One second he was SURE he wanted Spiderman, the next second it HAD to be Cars, oh but wait maybe we should get Spongebob, or wait let's do sports! In the end, I chose the Cars theme for him since that is what is is most into lately.

Once again this year we had his party at Grandma Janet and Grandpa Art's house. Our little house just isn't that great for a party. Mostly because we only have seating for four! My parents drove down from Fargo for the day and Grandma Jean, Brad, Katie and Chris all celebrated with us too. Ben got so many nice gifts (thank you everyone!!) and I think this was the year he realized how awesome birthdays are!
