The evening after the apple orchard, Jeff and I went out to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We had a nice dinner at Kincaids restaurant and then headed off to the Country Inn and Suites for some hot-tubbing and a kid-free evening in a hotel. I can't believe its been five years since our wedding day! I guess time flies when you're happy and having fun! We truly are lucky to have found each other. :)After our lame experience at the apple orchard, we resolved to go to a pumpkin patch this year to make up for it. We headed out to Emma Krumbees which is about 30 minutes south of us in Belle Plaine, MN. Not only did they have pumpkins, they had horse and camel rides! Ben went on the horses while Grandma Janet walked with him and then he rode the camel with Jeff. There were a lot more things to do there (play ground areas, a scarecrow festival, a corn maze) but it was a chilly day and we were a bit short on time, so we didn't see everything this year. Maybe next time!

We headed home with pumpkins for the whole family and Jeff, of course, had to pick one of the biggest pumpkins there! It weighed 36 pounds! That's more than Ben weighs! Ben and I got more sensible sized pumpkins and we got a little one for Hallie girl. By the time we were ready to leave, Hallie had conked out from all the excitement. She looked so cute all snuggled up with Jeff.
I do have these pics, along with a TON of others from the past few months on my picasa web album. If you want to download or order them for yourself, go to: http://picasaweb.google.com/tiffanylynn/
