Catching Up - Mother's Day Weekend

I'm a little behind but I still wanted to post some pics of our recent activities. On Mother's Day weekend Ben, Hallie and I drove to Fargo to visit my parents while Jeff was off celebrating the Fishing Opener. We headed to Fargo on Thursday night and stayed until Sunday so we got a nice long weekend in.

There is a small children's museum by my parents house so we decided to go and check it out. I hadn't been there since I volunteered there about 15 years ago! They had some fun things to do there - check out the pics below of me milking a "cow" and goofing around with one of the safety dolls and of Ben dressed up as a bee, doing some painting and checking out the little kids playroom with his Nanny (thats what he calls my mom instead of Grandma). They also have a train you can ride and Ben and I took a couple spins on that. I think he would have gone on that thing all day! :) Hallie slept a lot of the time but she woke up at the end to give us some smiles.

And here are a few more pics of us hanging out that weekend. Make sure to check out the one of him and my dad crashed on the bed. They took a long nap together until Ben fell out of the bed....oops!
More posts to come this weekend including our trip to Denver for Stacey and Mike's wedding last weekend! :) And we converted Ben's crib into a "big boy bed" this afternoon so I will share some pics of that. He was pretty excited. Wish us luck for tonight!!

I'm bummed that you were in Fargo for so many days & we didn't get to hang out! Cute pics :)

i took Marshall there last year and he had a blast! However, i was disappointed they didnt have the shingle exhibit anymore (the one where you used a nail and hammer). I got Marshall all excited and he was bummed. The train is always the highlight! :)
