Valentines Day!

Sorry this is a little late....that seems to be the story of my life lately! Ben and I made some Valentines Day cupcakes this year and I got tons of cute pics so I decided to make a slideshow to share. This was his first attempt at cooking and he had such a blast!

Here are some more pictures from our Valentines day. Ben got a fun bowling set in the mail from Nanny and Buddy (my mom and dad) and he also got some books, stickers and candy from Jeff and I. He is already becoming a pro with his bowling set although it did take some lessons from mom on ROLLING the ball instead of throwing it. Its a heavy wood ball so the concept of rolling is more important than it might normally be :) Hallie got some clothes and shoes from Jeff and I but she wore wore her cute little Valentine outfit that Grandma Janet and Great Grandma Kay picked out.


Ben and Hallie spent the evening over at Grandma Janet and Grandpa Art's house so Jeff and I could sneak out for a quick Valentine's Day dinner. It was really nice to be able to get out even if it was only for a few hours and from the looks of the pics, the kids had a great time without us. :) Janet was even able to get a smile from Hallie captured on the camera. It's getting a little easier to do these days but I never get tired of seeing it!
