Hey Everyone! Not much to share as far as stories go but I wanted to post some pictures of the nursery since I've been working hard on it for the past few days. Its not totally done - I hope to add a rug, a corner shelf over the chair and maybe a different lamp & different curtain rod. Still - I've got most of it completed! I made the art over the crib, the one to the right of the window and the message board above the changing table - aren't you all proud?
Ben got a haircut today so you will notice him looking a little less shaggy in the pictures in the next few weeks. :) It was a long time coming! I am hoping to get 2 year old pics taken in a few weeks and also get a family one we can use on our Christmas card. Jeff didn't seem very thrilled when I mentioned a family pic so we'll see how it goes.
In other Ben news - he has had more success on the potty chair! We still aren't training him officially but its nice that he is interested and seems to be understanding the concept. Another "new" and exciting thing in his life is the snow outside. I can't be sure if he remembers the snow from last year but he sure is loving seeing "snow white" outside these days. I am not loving it quite so much. The pic to the left was just over a week ago - it was a beautiful day and we were all outside playing in the leaves. I don't know why winter surprises me every year, but it does!
