A Trip to the Zoo

This last Saturday we took Ben to the Minnesota Zoo. It was my first time there too and we all had lots of fun. They had a brand new Grizzly Bear exhibit and we also saw tigers, monkeys, camels, sharks and dolphins.

Ben's favorite was the monkeys - he liked to watch them jump from tree to tree and laughed when they were swinging around. They also had a little playground there and he had some fun going down the slide and playing with the other kids. It was a really hot and humid day so his second favorite thing of the day was getting misted by a water-mister that they had near the camel exhibit. That and the dippin' dots ice cream of course :)

We ended up spending quite a few hours there and stayed through Ben's naptime but he was a trooper! I hoped he might fall asleep in the stroller and get a quick rest but he refuses to miss a thing!
