Its been steamy hot here lately and Ben and I decided to enjoy the weather at Jeff's softball game Monday night. There were lots of kids running around and even though most of them were older Ben got a kick out of watching them playing catch and running like crazy.He was also pretty impressed with his dad's skills on the field :) Ben desperately wanted to get onto the field himself so we let him run around there a little bit after the game.
By the way - I noticed he's wearing the same outfit here as our zoo trip! I swear he has more clothes - this just happens to be one of my favorites!Ben hasn't been up to much else this week although his aunt Katie did take him to see the puppies and kitties at the humane society today. She said he LOVED the cats except the black ones! I guess he must think they are bad luck!
Jeff and I were able to sneak in a date tonight with dinner out and a movie while grandma Janet took care of Ben. We saw Get Smart (with Steve Carrell) and it was actually pretty funny! I think Jeff wanted to see Indiana Jones or Iron Man but I wanted to see Sex and the City so we made a compromise :)
Also want to share some cute pics of Ben from just after bath time last night. He was running around wild and I had to practically wrestle him down to get a diaper on him! Thankfully I did manage and have cute pictures to prove it.
