Long Time Gone!

Hi Everyone!  Once again, I have been neglecting my blogging duties and have a lot to catch up on.  When life gets busy, the blog always seems to fall a bit behind.  We have had a busy month so far with a vacation for Jeff & I, a trip to Iowa to celebrate Jeff’s Grandma Kay’s birthday, and a trip to visit my family for Easter.  But first I have some things to catch up on from last month, so here we go!

I got a new point-and-shoot camera last month (yay!) and took a bunch of pics the first few days to test it out.  Our snow finally started to melt and it was nice enough to play outside.  The rest are just pics of the kids goofing around at home.

Also last month, the kids and Jeff went bowling with Janet, Art, Brad, Katie and Chris.  I can’t remember now why I decided to skip out on this outing but I suspect it had something to do with sleep, cleaning, or just wanting a minute of silence.  Katie was nice enough to make sure a pictures got taken and recorded a few cute videos too.  The kids bowled with bumpers and a ramp to help them out, but Ben insisted on aiming the ramp himself and worked some crazy angles to knock the pins down.  He ended up doing pretty well and I think he even beat Grandma Janet.  As you can see in the pic of Hallie and Jeff, she showed off how “strawn” (Hallie-speak for strong) she was by carrying her own ball!

They happened to have cosmic bowling while they were there and the kids had a blast playing in the lights and dancing to the music while they bowled.  As you can see,  Hallie’s patented dance move is just spinning in circles until she gets dizzy.  As usual, she ends up toppling over at the end!  Ben’s moves resemble something a little bit closer to actual dancing. :)
