Last week Jeff had to travel to Wisconsin for work all week so I decided to take the kids to Fargo for a visit. I’m not the greatest at staying home alone and my parents are always looking for another chance to see the kids (and me…….right guys?).
When we visit, the kids always likes to take my parent’s dog Sammi to the dog park and then stop for a push-up pop on the way home. This time there were about a MILLION mosquitoes (or as Ben says “ba-skeet-ahs”) but the kids still had a lot of fun.
My dad had both Ben and Hallie up in this little tree which they both thought was pretty great. I didn’t get a pic of Hallie up there since she was over it by the time I grabbed the camera, but here’s Ben.
After our first day there, fall seemed to arrive and it was cold, windy, or rainy for the rest of the week. We had promised the kids swimming and were able find a place to go indoors that had a waterslide and splash playground & the kids had SO much fun!
I wasn’t sure if Ben would be brave enough to go on the waterslide but after turning me down, he changed his mind when my dad asked if he wanted to ride down with him. After a few rides down with grandpa, I had my dad shoot a quick video of Ben and I going down. At the end he’s yelling “Lets’s do that again!” which is what he said every time we got to the bottom.
In addition to some good family time, I was also able to sneak in a quick visit with some old friends. Three of my high-school girlfriends had babies in the past few months and I was eager to see those little cuties in person. Kara, Meagan, and I all brought our kids and met up at Carissa’s house for some catching up and some seriously cute photo opportunities.
We found out pretty quickly that its almost impossible to get five kids too look at the camera at once. That didn’t stop us from trying though! Here are (going clockwise) Hallie, Kara’s daughter Elise, Carissa’s son Thomas, Meagan’s daughter Kenadey and Ben.
Here’s me seeing what it would be like to be a mom of triplets and the kids and I with baby Elise.
And here is the whole crew! Meagn & Kenadey, Kara holding Hallie, Me holding Elise, Ben peeking out from the back, and Carissa holding Thomas.
I had so much fun seeing all adorable little ones and catching up with my girls. I can’t wait to go back and do it again!

SO cute! Sad that we didn't get to see you while you were here. Did you go to Govenor's Inn to swim?
Stone loves that waterpark too! It looks like the kids had a lot of fun.
