Staying Cool

We've been having a bit of a heat wave the last week and although I could probably stand a little less humidity, the kids are loving the weather. We've been staying cool by playing in our water table, washing cars, and swimming in the pool. Having almost 90 degree temps really helps the kids to think that water straight from the hose isn't too cold to swim in. Yay for mom and dad since carrying buckets of hot water from the house can be kind of a pain!

Here are some pics I took of the kids in the pool on Monday. Ben loves to play with his magnetic fishing set (thanks Auntie Katie) and Hallie mostly likes to splash around and try to drink the water. :)
